REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE Money & Multipliers
Money is paid when a round ends and spent before the next one. Two free multipliers raise it: playing with friends and joining the IBA Community group.

Money in REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE is a round-based economy: you play a round, the round ends, you get paid, and you spend that money before the next one. Everything on this hub follows from that one sentence.
The two multipliers are the only lever the game gives you outside of playing well. One comes from playing with friends, one comes from being in the IBA Community Roblox group. Both are free.
The loop, in four steps
| Step | What happens | What you should be doing |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A round starts | Playing it, not shopping |
| 2 | The round ends, win or lose | Staying in the server |
| 3 | Money is paid | Noting roughly what you earned |
| 4 | Buy phase | Buying to fix a problem, or saving |
The step people get wrong is step 3. If you leave during or right after a round, you are leaving the payout behind. This is a small game with short rounds; there is no reason to leave one early.
The two multipliers
The game's own description lists them, in these words: play with friends to earn bonus cash, and join the Roblox group for an extra money multiplier.
| Multiplier | How to get it | Cost | Verified detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friends bonus | Play in a server with friends | Free | Named in the game description |
| Group bonus | Join IBA Community (group ID 17130561) | Free | Named in the game description; 32,330 members at check |
What we cannot tell you is the size of either bonus. The developer does not publish a percentage, and we have not measured one, because payout also depends on the round itself and we cannot isolate the multiplier from the round result. Any page quoting "+25% for group" or similar is guessing. Asking for a number is reasonable; inventing one is not.
Whether the two stack additively, multiplicatively, or not at all is also unmeasured. We list them as two separate bonuses, not as a combined figure, for that reason.
Why the group bonus is the first thing to do
It costs nothing, it takes thirty seconds, and unlike the friends bonus it does not depend on anyone else being online at the time.
The group is IBA Community, the same group that publishes the game. Membership was 32,330 when we checked on 25 October 2026. Joining is the normal Roblox group flow: open the group page, press Join.

What money is actually for
Money buys three categories of thing: rifles, suppressors and grenades. That is it. There is no shop full of cosmetics described on the game page, and we have not verified any other sink.
| If your problem is… | Money helps by… | Money does not help because |
|---|---|---|
| Losing open fights | Buying a rifle | A better gun does not fix bad positioning |
| Being found after firing | Buying a suppressor | It hides where you fired, not where you are |
| One entrance stalling | Buying a grenade for that round | It is a one-round answer, not a permanent one |
| Dying in the same doorway | Nothing | That is a habit, not a purchase |
That last row is the point of this page. The economy is small enough that it cannot paper over positioning mistakes, and the players who improve fastest are the ones who notice that.
Saving as a strategy
Because payout happens once per round, spending everything every round keeps you at the same power level forever. Skipping a purchase does the opposite: it moves money forward.
Two rules that hold regardless of the actual prices:
- Never buy two categories in the same round unless you are far ahead. One purchase per round is the sustainable rate for a new player.
- If you are being carried, save. You are not the reason the round is being won; the money is better spent on the round where you are the reason it is close.
This is why we do not print a buying order with prices attached. The order changes with your income, and your income changes with the multipliers. What does not change is the rule: buy the answer to a problem, or keep the money.
The numbers we do not have
Being explicit is cheaper than being wrong, and this is a page where being wrong is easy:
- Income per round: not measured. It depends on the round, and we have not isolated the formula.
- Multiplier percentages: not published by the developer and not measured by us.
- Whether winning pays more than losing: unconfirmed. The round ends either way, and money is paid at the end; we have not verified that the result changes the amount.
- Whether money persists between sessions: unconfirmed.
- Any Robux purchase that increases income: five game passes exist, and none of their names or descriptions promises extra income. The list is on game passes, read from the API on 25 October 2026.
Each of these is checkable with a controlled test, which is how they will eventually get answered. Until then the page stays descriptive rather than numeric. See how money works in detail for the loop, game passes for what Robux actually buys, and which version you are playing if a money guide you found mentions races or bosses, because that one is about the 2021 game.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you earn money in REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE?
By playing rounds. Money is paid when a round ends, not while you are alive, so finishing the round is what pays.
What are the money multipliers?
Two: a bonus for playing with friends, and a bonus for joining the IBA Community Roblox group. Both are free. The developer does not publish the percentages and we have not measured them, so no figure is quoted here.
Do the multipliers stack?
We have not measured it, so we do not claim it. They are listed as two separate bonuses; whether they combine and how is an open question.
What should I spend money on first?
Whatever answers the round you keep losing. If you lose open fights, a rifle. If you get found after firing, a suppressor. If one entrance stalls every attack, a grenade for that round. If none of those apply, save.
Is there any way to buy in-game money with Robux?
We have not found one. The game has five passes and none of them names extra income or a cash boost; they unlock weapons, a second slot, your avatar, and two support items. Prices are not readable from the API, so nothing here quotes one. See game passes for the full list and what each one does.
Game Passes in REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE: All Five, Two Off Sale
Five game passes exist on the 2026 game. Three are on sale, two are not, and the list does not match the 2021 game of the same name. Here is the API output, and what it means for your loadout.
