Which REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE Are You Playing?

Place ID 105527962898452 is the 2026 game this site covers. Place ID 7178257014 is the 2021 game with the same name. Here is how to tell them apart in ten seconds, and why the difference matters.

Last updated:

You are on the right game if the place ID is 105527962898452.

  • 2026 game: IBA Community, 16-player servers, 8v8 attack and defense
  • 2021 game: FractalReality, 30-player servers, zero players online
  • Races, bosses, skills and Shinigami only exist in the 2021 game

Doesn't apply when: You deliberately want to read about the 2021 game, in which case almost nothing on this site applies to you.

This page exists because the problem is real and it is costing people their first hour with the game. Two Roblox experiences are called REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE. Search for the game, and you will get guides, videos and code lists for both, mixed together, with no indication of which is which.

The two are not versions of each other. They were made by different groups, five years apart, and share nothing except the name.

The two games, by the numbers

Both rows below come from the Roblox games API on 25 October 2026. Nothing here is estimated.

Two things in that table are worth pausing on.

The 2021 game has nine times the visits of the 2026 game. That is why it still dominates search results: five years of accumulated links, videos and wiki pages point at it. Visits are a lifetime total. They do not reset, and they say nothing about whether anyone is there now.

The 2021 game had zero players at the time of checking, against roughly 3,800 on the 2026 game. That is the number that matters. A guide for a game nobody is playing is not a guide, it is an archive.

Why the old guides still rank

Understanding this saves you from re-checking every page you open.

Search engines rank pages on accumulated signals: how many sites link to them, how long they have existed, whether people click them. A 2021 game with 11 million visits has had five years to collect those signals. The 2026 game has had three weeks. So when you search for the game name, the older material often outranks the newer material, even though the older material describes a game you cannot join.

The result is a search result page where the top answers are wrong for the game you are about to play. This is not a small problem in this niche; it is the default state. Assume any undated guide is about the 2021 game until it proves otherwise.

There is a second layer to it. AI-generated pages about this game have been appearing since the 2026 release, and they mix the two: a page will open with 2026 facts (eight versus eight, three-minute rounds) and then list "races", "bosses" and "skills". Those lists were scraped from the 2021 game. The mix is the tell.

Five red flags in a guide

You do not need to check a place ID to spot the wrong game. Any one of these means the page is about the 2021 release.

Red flagWhat it means
Races, character races, "best race"2021 only. The 2026 game has no races.
Bosses or boss drops2021 only.
Skill tree, abilities, Shinigami2021 only. Shinigami is the clearest single tell.
A code list with 20+ working codesThe 2026 game has no confirmed codes at all.
Server size of 30, or "30-player lobbies"That is the 2021 game's limit, not this one's.

Conversely, these are safe signals that a page is about the 2026 game: eight versus eight, a three-minute round, Maple Street as the map, IBA Community as the developer, and money multipliers tied to playing with friends or joining a group.

How to check which one you are in

The Roblox page URL contains the place ID. Open the game, look at the address bar, and read the number after /games/.

  • roblox.com/games/105527962898452/... is the 2026 game.
  • roblox.com/games/7178257014/... is the 2021 game.

If you are reading this because a friend sent you a link, that is the check. If the numbers do not match either of the above, you are in a third experience that copied the name, which does happen with popular titles.

Roblox names are not unique. Anyone can publish a game called REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE. The place ID is the only reliable identifier, which is why every page on this site that needs to be unambiguous quotes it.

What the 2026 game actually contains

For contrast, here is the complete feature set we can verify for the game this site covers, as of 25 October 2026:

  • Format: 16 players, split 8v8 into attackers and defenders.
  • Round length: three minutes.
  • Map: Maple Street, the only map.
  • Economy: money is paid at the end of each round; you spend it on rifles, suppressors and grenades.
  • Practice: bots and a shooting range.
  • Multipliers: one for playing with friends, one for joining the IBA Community group.
  • Inputs: nine documented bindings on PC, with console equivalents and a mobile layout.

That is a short list, and it is meant to be. The game is in alpha and three weeks old at the time of writing. A guide that claims to cover races, classes, trading or a levelling system is not covering a richer version of this game. It is covering a different game.

The features we cannot verify yet are listed openly on the guide hub. Weapon prices, the existence of codes, a level system and the game pass list are all still open questions.

If you came here for the 2021 game

Then this site is not for you, and we would rather say so than waste your time. The 2021 game has its own material, most of it older than 2022, and the fact that it currently shows zero players means new material is unlikely to appear. If you are trying to play it, expect empty servers, which for a multiplayer shooter means you cannot actually play it.

If you are trying to work out which game a friend means, ask for the place ID. If they cannot give you one, ask whether the game has bosses. That single question separates them every time.

A quick decision table, in case you are the one being asked:

The question you can answerWhat it tells you
Does the game have bosses or races?Yes means the 2021 game
How many players are in a server?30 means 2021, 16 means 2026
Does the shop sell rifles, suppressors and grenades?Yes means the 2026 game
Is the only map called Maple Street?Yes means the 2026 game
Is anyone online?Zero players means the 2021 game

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which REALISTIC HOME DEFENSE I am playing?

Check the number in the URL after /games/. 105527962898452 is the 2026 game by IBA Community. 7178257014 is the 2021 game by FractalReality.

Why do so many guides talk about races and bosses?

Because those guides were written for the 2021 game of the same name, which had those systems. The 2026 game does not, so a page listing races is describing a game you cannot join.

Is the 2021 game still playable?

It is still on Roblox, but it showed zero players when we checked on 25 October 2026. For a 30-player team shooter, that effectively means unplayable.

Does the 2026 game have races, bosses or skills?

No. We have found no evidence of any of them in the 2026 release. What it has is two sides, three-minute rounds, one map and a round-based money system.

Should I trust a guide that does not mention a place ID?

Be careful with it. This site quotes place IDs because names are not unique; a guide that never distinguishes between the two games is probably describing whichever one its author played, and you cannot tell which from the text.
